    Me again, lol, sorry, but what does this mean…. Work Row 6 for a total of 0 (0, 0, 4, 4, 8, 8) rows.

Hello, I see it is a bit short, could I make this top longer by just adding extra rows in the beginning? I am fairly new to knitting and still have so much to learn, thank you.

Can you make this in cotton for a summer weight tank? I’m a noobie and am just not sure if it would look right.
    Thanks for your advice!

Hi Pamela! Yes you can definitely make this tank in a cotton based yarn and that would be really nice for summer. The main difference you would notice from the photographed sample is that in cotton it would have more drape. The photographed sample uses a fibre blend (Lana Grossa Lace Seta Mulberry with 35% Mulberry Silk, 35% Baby Alpaca, 30% Merino Wool) and the wool in the blend provides a little bit of structure / stiffness.

  • Pattern notes says “this pattern is worked from the bottom down”. Not being snarky, just wanted to bring to your attention.

Good catch! It should definitely be “bottom up”. Thanks for bringing this to our attention! – Nicola, Editor
