Pattern Notes
When working with linen yarn, it is imperative that you swatch and then wash and block your swatch according to the yarn label’s directions, in order to accurately check your gauge. For Euroflax, it is recommended to wash your swatch/garment in the washing machine on a delicate cycle, and then dry in the dryer, either until just damp or completely dry. More details on washing and blocking are included in the pattern finishing instructions.
Please read through pattern completely before starting, as some instructions are given at the same time. The front and back of this piece are worked flat from the bottom up and seamed. The sides are then picked up from the right and left edges and seamed. Sleeves are shaped with short rows. Garter trim is picked up and knit around the bottom hem, neck and armholes.

Washing and Blocking
Wash your finished garment in the washing machine on a delicate cycle. Dry in the dryer on low-medium heat. You have two options for blocking. You may remove the garment from the dryer when it is still slightly damp and lay it flat to finish drying, shaping it to finished dimensions; you can also dry the garment completely in the dryer, and then use a steam iron to smooth out wrinkles, straighten seams and shape to finished dimensions.
The garment should always be washed and dried in this manner, as the more you wash and dry your tee, the softer the linen will become.
