3-needle Bind-off
- With the right-side of both pieces facing each other, hold both needles parallel in left hand.
- Insert the right-hand needle knit-wise into the first stitch of each needle.
- Knit both stitches together.
- Knit the next 2 stitches together as described in steps 2 and 3.
- Slip the first stitch on the right-hand needle over the second stitch.
- Repeat steps 4-5 until all stitches are bound off.
Pattern Notes
- Work the ribbing at the bottom of the sweater, cuffs and neckline without holding the metallic filament. When switching to larger needle, add the metallic filament too.
- Usually, instructions call for both sides of the neck to be worked at the same time. In this case, if you do not have two spools of metallic thread, it is better to work each shoulder separately.
