Row 3: P2, p first st on LH needle. Turn.

Cont. until there are 10 sts on RH needle on the purl row. DO NOT TURN. Leave these sts on the needle and start from row 1 to make the next triangle. Cont. until all sts are knit.

Row 1: P2tog, p8. Turn.

Left Side of Body
With the right side of the front panel facing you and (B) pick up and knit 60 sts along the edge of the front panel then cable cast on 24 sts. Pick up and knit 72 sts along the right side of the back panel. (156 sts)
P42 (42, 41, 41, 40) PM, p72 (72, 74, 74, 76) (sleeve), PM, p42 (42, 41, 41, 40).
Work Stockinette stitch until piece measures 4″ (5″, 6″, 7″, 8″). On the next right side row, bind off 42 (42, 41, 41, 40) sts, knit to end of row.
Bind off 42 (42, 41, 41, 40) sts and p72 (72, 74, 74, 76) sts for sleeve.
Sleeve
Work Stockinette stitch decreasing on both sides every 8 rows, 5 times and every 6 rows 8 times. (46 (46, 48, 48, 50) sts)
Decrease 4 (4, 2, 2, 0) sts across row. (42 (42, 46, 46, 50) sts)
With size 6 needles work 2X2 ribbing for 3″. Bind off all sts.
Right Side of Body
With the right side of the back panel facing you and (B) pick up and knit 72 sts along the edge of the back panel then cable cast on 24 sts. Pick up and knit 60 sts along the right side of the front panel. (156 sts)
Work same as back side of the body and sleeve.
Finishing
Front Bottom Edge
With size 6 needles, evenly pick up and knit 90 (98, 102, 106, 110) sts. Work 2X2 ribbing for 3″. Bind off all sts loosely.
Back Bottom Edge
Work same as front.
Collar
With size 6 needles and starting from the center of back neck, evenly pick up and knit 120 sts. Work 2X2 ribbing in round for 3½”. Switch to size 7 needles and work 2X2 ribbing for 3½”. Switch to size 8 needles and work 2X2 ribbing for 3″. (10″ length of collar)
Bind off all sts loosely.
Sew side and sleeve seams.
Weave in all ends.
Block sweater to size.
