The socks are worked top down with a twisted rib cuff, traditional slip stitch heel flap and riverbed gusset with an optional ordinary gusset. The design features chain cables, knit, and purl textures.
Pattern
CO 56 (64, 72) sts, join to work in the rnd using magic loop method or preferred method of small diameter.
Cuff
Rnds 1-16: Work in Twisted 1×1 Rib. Cuff should meas 1½” / [3.8 cm] from CO edge.

Heel Flap
The heel flap is worked back and forth only on the 28 (32, 36) Heel sts (the back half of the sock). The rem sts will not be worked during the heel flap or heel turn.

Over the next 8 rnds, work the sole plain and work the Welt Pattern over the Instep sts as follow:
