Pattern Notes
This hoodie is worked from the top down beginning at the top of the hood. The hood is shaped by working the top section flat, then picking up stitches along each selvedge edge. The top of the hood is shaped with short rows, then decrease rows are evenly spaced along the length of the hood to the neck. There is an optional bind-off for neck stability, then the same number of stitches are picked up for the yoke. The yoke is worked with raglan increases to the underarms, where the body and sleeves are divided. Stitches are cast-on for the front neck, then the body is worked in the round to the hem while the sleeve stitches are held. Then the sleeve stitches are placed onto DPNs and knit from the underarm to the cuff. The front band is picked up and knit, then overlapped and sewn to the front body.

I agree with Linley, this pattern is very difficult to follow due to the mistakes that are in it. The cable instructions are so very different from all other patterns. When will we get an update on this pattern as I really want to achieve the finished product?
I am an experienced knitter and found this pattern very very difficult to follow. It is very complicated and written in a difficult style. There are several mistakes in the pattern. In the end I gave up, it took so long to work out what most instructions meant, and the errors slowed me down.
Hi Linley, can you let me know specific areas of the pattern that you have questions about? That way I can have the designer take a look and see if there are actual errors in the pattern or if something can be made more clear. Thanks! – Nicola, Editor
Hi, Kristen, I am a fan of seamless knitting and have brought your book. This pattern is quite interesting to me because I want to knit for my grandson. In this pattern, you require US size 4 and size 6 needle, can you tell me where the size 6 needle used? I try knit fast so to prefer to use larger needle. I am a quite experienced knitter without using pattern. If you use size 4 for the major parts of the project, I will try to alter the number of stitches but use your method as my reference. Thank you, Ting
Hello Ting! I’ve reached out to the designer for advice and she or I will reply as soon as possible. Thanks! – Nicola, Editor
I have quite a few little ones to make things for it looks like the December issue has quite a little ones patterns. Please call me next week. Thank you. Debbie Larson.
