Finishing
Seam row edges of body and head, leaving a gap for stuff. Stuff well, taking care to push stuffing into the snout area and shape it nicely. Sew up remaining gap in seam. Seam row edges of ears. Oversew across cast on sts, then sew to either side of head, taking care to leave enough space for the antlers (use the photos as a guide). Seam row edges of antler spur and sew up any holes where the spur joins the main antler. Seam row edges of the antler. Stuff lightly. Place on top of head and sew in position. Sew nose to snout, overlapping the white slightly. Use CC5 to embroider eyes on head, equidistant from the nose on either side.
Seam row edges of legs, then oversew across cast on sts. Stuff well. Sew legs to front of body sticking outwards in a seated position. Place boot cuff around leg and seam row edges, then sew to top of boot. Seam row edges of sweater. Place on body and fold down the neck ribbing. Seam row edges of arms from cast on sts up to underarm point. Gather around cast on sts, pull up tightly and fasten off. Stuff arms well. Place the raglan sleeve part of the arm on the body, and sew in place, taking care to catch the sts through the sweater and into the body to help hold it in place better. Seam row edges of sleeve cuffs. Place on arm, over the color change and sew in position. Seam row edges of tail. Oversew across cast on sts, then sew to back of body, under the sweater.
