Pattern Notes

The skirt is worked flat, sideways, alternating between different color stripes and 3 pattern sections (Garter, Stockinette, and Chevron.) The Main Color is carried throughout, and other colors are cut at each color change. Knitted double-sided waistband conceals the ends and gives structure to the waist. German Short-rows are used to shape the skirt. To determine the proper size/fit, measure the waist and knit the fabric until the top of the skirt is desired width.

Thank you, Minnie! I get a lot of comments when I wear it. And it works up surprisingly quickly, with a DK weight yarn.
