Needles: US size 3 (3.25 mm) 24” circular or size needed to obtain gauge, US size 6 (3.75 mm) 24” circular needles

Provisionally CO 60 (66, 70, 75, 77, 78, 83) sts.

Increases/Shape Armholes
Increase 1 st on each side of this row, then every RS row 2 more times as follows:
K1, m1, work to last st, m1, k1. (2 sts increased)
(WS): Work even.

Front Left
Carefully undo the provisional CO for 14 sts on the left side of the piece. Knit for 4”, ending with a WS row.
Neck Shaping
(RS): K1, M1R, knit to end.
Repeat every 4th row, 3 (3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5) times.
Then every row two times.
At the Same Time Work Armhole Shaping
Work neck increases measure 2.5(2.5, 2.5, 2.5, 1.5, 1, 1)” begin armhole shaping as follows:
Work in St st to 1 st before the end of row, m1L, k1. Working in St st, repeat Armhole Increases every 4th row 2 (2, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4) times, the every other row 2 (2, 3, 3, 7, 7, 9) times.
Repeat neck increases on the WS row one time as follows: Purl to 1 st from end, M1P, p1. (1 st increased. (26 (27, 29, 32, 33, 34, 37) sts)
Break yarn and place the sts on scrap yarn.
Right Front
Carefully undo the provisional CO for the 14 sts on the right side. Work in St st for 4”, ending with a WS row.
Neck Shaping
(RS): K1, M1R, knit to end.
Repeat every 4th row, 3 (3, 4, 4, 5, 5, 5) times.
Then every row two times.
Armhole Shaping

Do not break yarn.
Joining Rnd (RS): Join right and left front sts as follows, k1, m1R, knit to end of rt front, CO 13 (14, 18, 21, 27, 30, 32) sts, place left front sts on left needle and knit to 1 st from end, m1L, K1.
Turn and purl 1 row.
Armhole Increase Row (RS): K1, m1R, knit to 1 st from end, m1L, k1.
Work in St st, repeating Armhole Increases every other row three times more.
(WS): P1, m1, purl to 1 st from end, m1, p1.
CO 4 sts.
Body
(RS): Join front and back to work in the rnd. Knit to end of front sts, CO 6 sts, pm (this becomes your BOR m), place back sts onto left needle and knit to the end, CO 6 sts, knit to the end of the rnd.
Knit until piece measures 7 (7, 8, 9, 9, 10, 10)” from underarm.
Eyelet Rnd: *K3, yo, k2tog; rep from * to end of rnd.
Purl 1 rnd.
Increase Rnd: *K4, kf/b; rep from * to the end of the rnd.
Switch to larger needles.
(Make sure your sts are a multiple of 3 at this point, if not, increase or decrease as needed)
Lace Pattern
Rnd 1: *Yo, k3, pass 1st knit st over last 2 knitted sts; rep from * to the end of the rnd.
Rnd 2: Yo, knit to the end of the rnd.
Rnd 3: *Yo, k3, pass 1st knit st over last 2 knitted sts; rep from * to last st, yo, k1.
Rnd 4: Yo, knit to the end of the rnd.
Work lace pattern until piece measures 22” from underarm (or until desired length).
Picot Bind Off
*CO 2 sts, bind off 4 sts, slide last st on rt needle back to left needle; repeat from * to the last 2 sts. Bind off last 2 sts, cut yarn and pull through last st.
Sleeve Edging
With smaller needles, start at the middle of the sleeve and pick up sts around the edge of the armhole. Pick up 2 sts for every 3 sts, ending with a multiple of 4 sts.
Work k2, p2 rib three times. Bind off in rib pattern. Repeat for other arm.
Neck Edging
Undo remaining provisional CO and put the sts back on the smaller needles. Knit the sts and then pick up sts around neck edge. Work in k2, p2 for 3 rnds. Bind off in K2, p2 Rib.
I-cord Belt
CO 3 sts. Work in I-cord for 80”.
Bind off.
Weave finished cord through eyelet row, leaving ends to either tie in front, or to the right front side.
Finishing
Weave in all ends. Wash finished piece and lay flat to block, pulling lace section out and pinning
on picot edges.
