Yarn: Cascade Yarn Ultra Pima (100% Pima Cotton; 220 yards [200 meters]/100 grams): 3725 Cobalt (5 balls)
Needles: US size 6 (4.0 mm) 24” circular
Notions: Stitch markers, tapestry needle, US size H/8 (5.0mm) crochet hook
Pattern Notes
The wrap is cast on along the long edge and worked up from there. Two parallel slits are worked into the pattern so the wrap can be threaded through itself.
Pattern
Beginning of Pattern
CO 345 sts.
Row 1: Purl.
Row 2: Knit
Work these 2 rows until piece meas 13” from CO edge, ending with Row 2.
Threading Holes
Row 1: Purl.
Row 2: K50 sts, BO 40 sts, k to end.
Row 3: P to gap, CO 40 sts, p to end. (345 sts)
Row 4: Knit.
Row 5: Purl.
Rep Rows 4-5, 9 more times.
Work Rows 2-3 once more.
End of Pattern
Row 1: Knit.
Row 2: Purl.
Rep Rows 1-2 until piece meas 21” from CO edge, ending with Row 2.
BO all sts.
Finishing
Weave in ends.
Crochet a single crochet border around each of the two holes.
Block.
