Pattern Notes

Two rectangles sewn together create this poncho. Start with 2×2 ribbing edge. Work the Slip Stitch pattern, working with just one color on each row, with rib edges to prevent the curling of the sides. End with 2×2 ribbing edge.

If you prefer a longer or shorter rectangle, add or subtract rows symmetrically in increments of 4 rows of the Slip Stitch pattern repeat as many times as you wish.

  • I’m wondering if the yarn notation is correct? It is marked here as being a 5 chunky yarn, but every other resource on the internet indicates it is an aran weight yarn.

  • I may have missed it, but I’m not seeing the schematic to sew it together?

I wish these patterns were in PDF. It makes it easier for me to print and take with me while I’m knitting.
