Pattern Notes

This shawl is knit sideways beginning by casting on few sts and increasing in width up to the halfway mark after which it is decreased in width.

Tip for completely using up one skein of yarn: Weigh the yarn and work increase section until half the ball is used up and then begin the decrease section.

The first and last sts of all rows are edge sts and are knit on RS and WS.

Increase Section

Row 1 (RS): K2, yo, k2, k2tog, k2.
Row 2 and all WS rows: K1, p to last st, k1.
Rows 3-12: Rep Rows 1-2 five more times.
