Pattern Notes
This pattern starts with the edging. Stitches are picked up at the straight edge of the edging and worked in a lace pattern. The keyhole is on the other end and is worked in k1, p1 ribbing.

With larger needle, CO 13 sts.
Rows 1-4: Knit.
Row 5 and all odd numbered rows (WS): K2, purl to last 2 sts, k2.
Row 6 (RS): Sl1, k3, yo, k5, yo, k2tog, yo, k2 – 15 sts.
Row 8: Sl1, k4, sk2p, k2, (yo, k2tog) twice, k1 – 13 sts.
Row 10: Sl1, k3, ssk, k2, (yo, k2tog) twice, k1 – 12 sts.
Row 12: Sl1, k2, ssk, k2, (yo, k2tog) twice, k1 – 11 sts.

Body
With RS of edging facing, pick up and knit 101 sts on the straight edge of the Wave Edging.
Work Rows 1-20 of Trellis Leaf Pattern 14 times total.
Keyhole
Change to smaller needles.
Row 1: *K2tog; rep from * to last st, k1 – 51 sts.
Work in K1, P1 Ribbing on all sts for 8″ / [20 cm].
BO all sts loosely, leaving a long tail.
Finishing
Block. Fold the bound off edge towards the beginning of ribbing.
Sew last row to first row of ribbing.
Weave in all ends.
I thought it looked so pretty. I have knit many lace patterns, but I think this one is very poorly written, and I give up. I am so disappointed.
