Needles: US size 10 (6.0mm) 32” circular

Notions: Stitch marker, tapestry needle

Special Stitches

Lace Pattern (worked over a multiple of 5 sts)

Rnd 1: Knit.

Rnd 2: *P2, yo, CDD, yo; rep from * to end of rnd.

Rep Rnds 1-2 for patt.

Center Double Decrease (CDD)

Slip next 2 sts from LH needle to RH needle as if to knit two together. Knit next stitch on the left knitting needle. Insert LH needle into two slipped sts and pass them over first st and off needle.

Pattern Notes

This scarf is worked in the round with simple garter stitch borders and a two-row lace pattern in between.

Pattern

With CC, CO 220 sts. PM and join in the rnd, being careful not to twist.

[Purl 1 rnd, knit 1 rnd] 4 times.

Change to MC.

Work even in Lace Pattern until piece meas 9” from CO edge, ending with Rnd 1.

Change to CC.

[Knit 1 rnd, purl 1 rnd] 4 times.

BO loosely kwise.

Block.
