Size: 13” square to fit a 14” square pillow form
Gauge: 20 sts and 24 rows = 4” [10 cm] in St st after wet blocking.
Materials
Yarn: Knit Picks Swish Wool of the Andes (100% Superwash Merino Wool; 110 yards [101 meters]/50 grams): 26339 Cadet (MC, 4 balls), 26300 Solstice Heather (CC, 1 ball)
Needles: US size 7 (4.5 mm) straight or 24” circular, US size 7 (4.5 mm) set of 2 DPNs
Notions: cable needle (cn); tapestry needle; stitch markers (optional); 14” pillow form
Special Stitches
8-st LC – Sl 4 sts on cn and hold to front, k4, k4 from cn.
Applied I-Cord – With 1 DPN and starting at any corner, CO 3 sts, *with left tip of needle, pickup 1 st along edge of pillow (4 sts on needle), slide sts to other end (right tip) of needle ready to knit sts, k2, k2tog tbl; rep from * around pillow, picking up 3 sts in each corner.
Pattern Notes
The pillow is worked flat in pieces from the bottom-up and seamed using Mattress Stitch with the right sides out. Once the pillow form is encased, the applied i-cord is worked around the edge.

Knit 3 rows.
Row 1 (RS): K9, p4, [k8, p3] 4 times, k8, p4, k9.
Row 2 (WS): P9, k4, p52, k4, p9.
Rows 3-8: Rep Rows 1-2.
Row 9: K9, p4, [8-st LC, p3] 4 times, 8-st LC, p4, k9.
Row 10: P9, k4, p52, k4, p9.

Loosely BO all sts.
Back
With MC, CO 78 sts.
Knit 3 rows.
Work in St st, starting with a RS knit row until piece meas 13”, ending with a WS row.
Knit 3 rows.
Loosely BO all sts.
Finishing
Weave in all ends. Block each piece.
Assembly
Place back and front pieces together with wrong sides facing and seam three sides using the Mattress Stitch method.
Place pillow form inside and seam along the last side.
With CC, work Applied I-Cord around pillow. Stitch the ends together.
Weave in any rem ends.
The instructions appear to be for a three cable pillow. I don’t see the five cables as in picture. Please help
