Lakelyn Horizon Poncho

Give a simple rectangular poncho some drama and it becomes rippling waters at sunset at your favorite lake. Shifting twisted stitches in a flattering hourglass shape form the borders of the colorful center panel that’s knit in a gradient yarn alternately striped with the main color. A beautiful border, knit at the same time as the poncho, and a generous cowl complete this stunning poncho.

Aitne Poncho

A simple poncho worked with classic Irish shaping, this project is great for advanced beginners or as a relaxing project on long commutes. It’s worked in a wide garter/stockinette rib pattern to create perpendicular lines of symmetry across the body, with a squishy cowl neck and picot bind off for a final feminine touch.

Lillemor Sweater

Have fun playing with lines in this beautiful piece featuring one long exaggerated pattern of horizontal lines that run cuff to cuff in this sideways sweater. The lightweight merino/silk fabric has wonderful drape allowing the lines at the bodice to widen with the weight of the bottom. Worked almost seamlessly with two short seams at each underarm, once the sideways top portion is finished, stitches are picked up around the body and worked in the rnd to the end, creating narrower, vertical lines.
