The Mariza Striped Skirt is a vibrant and fun project, inspired by vintage summers and infused with a bohemian spirit. Knit with six different colors, paired with a grounding neutral Ecru, this skirt is a delightful blend of style and creativity. Small amounts of yarn are used for each stripe, making it a great option for using up leftover yarn or for a scrap-busting project. Pacifica Stripes Tee

This seamless striped tee is a cool and nautical addition to your wardrobe. With stripes only halfway up the body of the piece with a couple stripes on the sleeves, this tee has more visual interest and more of a playful summer flair. Knit in sport-weight linen yarn, the tee is ideal for summer/spring wear but can be well worn into early fall.

Mystic Mountains Scarf

This eye-catching, color block scarf is knit in a bias garter stitch and the result is a completely reversible accessory that is fun and meditative to make. The zigzag stitch pattern doesn’t require any complicated techniques to achieve its striking look — just the use of simple short rows, increases and decreases. Extremely versatile and easy to customize, this pattern works well with virtually any yarn, especially gradient and hand-dyed yarns, since bias garter stitch is the perfect canvas to display color variations to the greatest possible effect.

Field of Daisies Shawl

The Field of Daisies shawl was inspired by the floral trend appearing on the runways and can bring a little bit of the color and quirk to your wardrobe. The shawl is designed with the patterning of delicate daisy motifs and simple garter stitch borders. The daisies pattern is worked at the two short ends of the shawl (option 1), but it can also be repeated throughout the shawl (option 2).

Sweet Cinnamon Wrap

Wrap yourself up to keep cozy as we head into fall and winter. This wrap is a fantastic project for newer knitters, and a great introduction to charts and patterns since the pattern always builds on the rows beneath it in a predictable way. Featuring the Cascade Yarns Aereo in Provence (just like the Harvest Poncho pattern also in this issue), this is one of our favorites for the new season.

Color Me Plaid Brioche Wrap

What makes this brioche wrap special is the fully reversible syncopated 4-color brioche design. Color changes are preceded by a group of garter stitches which make this syncopating process so easy to remember. The garter stitches are later decorated vertically, by pulling purple colored strands of yarn through the purl bumps. This beautiful piece is definitely what your closet needs this season.
