View ProjectShayna is an exploration in subtle stitch patterns and beginner friendly knits. The shrug is a simple, large rectangle knit flat in an easy twist stitch pattern with a thick seed stitch border on the top and bottom edges. It’s then folded in half and seamed up the sides, stopping short of the fold to make the armholes. Lastly, the sleeve borders are added by picking up around the armholes and knitting in seed stitch in the round for a few inches.

The Mindy Reversible Beanie is a trendy and functional double-layered knit hat that offers two stylish looks in one. Designed using a clever provisional cast-on technique, this beanie is knit as a seamless tube, allowing you to create a fully reversible, two-tone design.
The first half of the beanie is worked in one color, shaped towards the crown, and then set aside while the second half is picked up from the provisional cast-on and worked in a contrasting shade. The result? A cozy, double-thick hat with a folded contrast brim, providing extra warmth and a polished, modern look. Whether you prefer a bold color combination or a classic neutral pairing, the Mindy Reversible Beanie is the perfect accessory for chilly days and effortless style.

Worked in the round using three strands of yarn held together, this warm, chunky headband is the perfect autumn and winter accessory. We’ve paired three natural colors of undyed wool to create the two-tone background, with bold chocolate stripes. A complementary fleece lining makes the headband extra cozy, while adding another shade of natural color. The piece is finished off with a dark brown tie in the front, adding a touch of character and interest to the design.
View ProjectThis lovely scarf is reversible with wrapped cluster puff stitches set against a background of marled seed stitch. This particular pattern has the puff stitches arranged in diagonal accent stripes, but they can easily be rearranged into an all-over pattern, horizontal stripes or any design that the knitter chooses. The pink and cream yarns create a soft, subtle contrast between the puff stitches and the textured background, but it would be simple to achieve a bolder look by using colors that contrast more strongly. The selvedge stitches of the scarf are worked as twisted slip-stitches for neat edges and the twisted fringe is added with a crochet hook after knitting for a decorative finish.
