Equestrian style comes alive with this classic cabled cardigan combining timeless style with everyday wear. Tiny cables form pleasing vertical columns for a flattering look. Each cable pattern has the same number of rows to make reading charts easier. A double column of knit stitches runs down each side seam to provide a visual break in the Moss and to make seaming easier. Rosalind is worked flat from the bottom up with set-in sleeves for a classic fit and ribbed edges. This cozy cowl shows off its beautiful gradient yarn with an interesting stitch pattern that is deceptively simple to work.
The design features basic garter stitch borders and an all-over cabled stitch pattern that was inspired by the “Crossed Loops” motif from KnittingStitchPatterns.com. The cowl’s flattering tapered shape is achieved by changing needle sizes while working, so there are no decreases to disrupt the slip stitch cables. However, it would be very easy to use one needle size throughout the project to make a straight cylindrical cowl instead. Either way, this fun design is a perfect canvas to let your favorite gradient yarns shine!

Knit this easy-breezy tank for a burst of outfitting sunshine. Amandine is a fully buttoned v-tank with a combination of a mesh-like texture and stockinette. It is worked from the bottom up in one piece. Stitches for the button bands are picked up and worked at the end. Directions include two fits: comfort fit as shown which includes shaping from the hips to waist, and slim fit which is worked straight without shaping. Sure to become a layering favorite, this tank will go from warm weather escapes to casually cool evenings.

This summer pillow is a fun sampler of various knitting techniques, including seed stitch, stockinette, reverse stockinette, garter stitch, eyelets, and twisted traveling stitches. These techniques combine to create a sandcastle motif on the front of the cushion cover and a seashell motif bordered by wavy lines of eyelets and garter stitch on the back. In addition to featuring a wide variety of textural stitches, this design is also a great opportunity to gain experience at working from charts, because the pattern is fully charted.
