Yarn: Nuna Mirasol (40% wool, 40% silk, 20% bamboo-sourced viscose; 195 yards [178 meters]/50 grams): #1012 (2 skeins)
Needles: US size 4 circular needles
Pattern
Cast on 175. Join to work in round. Place marker at beginning of round.
Rnd 1: K.
Rnd 2: P.
Repeat previous 2 rounds four times more.
Drop Stitch Rows
(Yo 3 times, k next stitch), repeat to the end of the round.
(Take the 3 yarn overs off the needles, k next stitch), repeat to the end of the round.
Purl one round.
Small Garter Band Rows
Rnd 1: K.
Rnd 2: P.
Repeat previous 2 rounds once more
Work Drop stitch rows (as described above), small garter band rows (as described above), and drop stitch rows again.
Large Garter Band Rows
Rnd 1: K.
Rnd 2: P.
Repeat previous 2 rounds two times more
(K 10 sts, kfb), repeat to last 10 stitches. Knit 9, kfb. Total of 16 increases.
Purl one round.
[Work Drop stitch rows and small garter band rows] twice, work drop stitch rows again.
Knit one round.
Purl one round.
Repeat previous 2 rounds 2 times more.
(K 10 sts, kfb), repeat to last 4 stitches, knit to end of round. Total of 17 increases.
Purl one round.
Work Drop stitch rows and small garter band rows, work drop stitch rows again.
Knit one round.
Purl one round.
Repeat previous 2 rounds 3 times more.
Bind off loosely.
