Finishing
Thread a tapestry needle and sew one of the shoulders as follow: Place the front and back right side down lining up the shoulder seams, and sew the stitches by picking up one stitch from the back and one from the front. Sew 20 (23, 25, 28, 31) sts, make a knot.
Sew the other shoulder in the same way as for the other, and sew the side of the neck seam.
Sew the sleeves to body, lining up center of sleeve with shoulder seam. Repeat for second sleeve.
Sew side seams and sleeve seams with the tapestry needle.
To finish, make a knot and weave in the tail end of yarn about 3” / [7.5 cm], cut off even with the fabric.
Weave in any loose ends in the same way.
Are the front and back the same, i.e. make 2 Body sections? And these are large rectangles with no shaping?
Hello! I’ve reached out to the designer for advice and she or I will reply as soon as possible. Thanks! – Nicola, Editor
From the designer: Yes the body consists of two parts, the front and the back.
No shaping is worked, the top has a boxy shape.
Once you knit the 2 pieces ( front & back) you sew them together and later sew the sleeves to each side.
Hope this helps!

I would like to see a front view of this pattern. I can’t knit a sweater without seeing the front!
