Pockets are worked into the fabric of the cardigan towards the hem.
The stitches for the sleeves are picked up around the armholes and the sleeves are knitted down to the cuffs.
The cardigan is finished with an applied i-cord edging that is worked at the end.
The cardigan is knitted using two strands of 4 ply yarn held double, with the top and bottom sections being marled in two strands of the same color and the middle portion being knitted in one strand of each color.

BO all sts loosely.
Finishing
Weave in all ends.
Using whip stitch, sew the pocket linings to the inside of the main body.
Wash your cardigan according to the instructions given on the ball band. Squeeze out all excess water, then lay the cardigan out to the dimensions given and leave it to dry flat.
I was reading through the pattern and noticed in the special stitches section it gives abbreviations for the colors to use together. Shouldn’t BB say hold 2 strands of color B together instead of color A?
Hello! I’ve reached out to the designer for advice and she or I will reply as soon as possible. Thanks! – Nicola, Editor
Where can store my patterns?
Hi Sandra! We are currently working with our development team to come up with a fast way to “favorite” or “star” the patterns you want to come back to. For now, we suggest bookmarking with your web browser or if you use Pinterest, pinning your favorite patterns into a Pinterest board is also an idea. Hope that helps for now! – Editor Nicola
What does one month pattern mean?
Hi Karen! We recently started asking our designers to include a time estimate for how long they think it would take an average knitter to knit the pattern. In this case, it would likely take around one month to complete, give or take. Hope that helps!
