Nothing is more comfortable than a great pair of slippers. These fuzzy cable slippers are no exception. This pattern uses a simple grey yarn and cable pattern that is lined with a fuzzy, bulky yarn. These slippers feel like a luxury, as the premade fleece-lined suede soles are like pillows for your feet.

Gauge: 24 sts and 32 rows = 4” [10 cm] in cable pattern using smaller needles.
Materials
Yarn: Bernat Softee Baby Solids (100% Acrylic; 362 yards [331 meters]/140 grams): 30044 Flannel (A, 1 (1, 1) ball)
Bernat Velvet (100% Polyester; 315 yards [288 meters]/300 grams): 32029
White (B, 1 (1, 1) ball)
Needles: US size 3 (3.25 mm) straight, US size 10 (6.0 mm) straight
Notions: Cable needle, tapestry needle, fleece lined suede insole sized to fit appropriate shoe size (sole shown is Ailaka Women’s Australian Sheepskin Insole)
Abbreviations
C6B – Slip 3 sts on cable needle and hold at back of work. Knit 3 sts, knit sts off of cable needle.

The slipper top is worked in a cable pattern. This slipper top will be placed evenly around the pre-made insole and sewn in place.

Switch to larger needles and B.

BO all sts.
Finishing
Weave in all ends.
Evenly place the slipper along the slipper insole and sew in place.
