Why on earth do you not have a key to the abbreviations?? what do “pm”, “sm”, “p”, “k” – I would like to make this item but since I don’t know what these abbreviations mean I won’t be able to and have lost interest in this site.
Hi Grace, each issue of our magazine has this article in the main TOC page: https://www.ilikeknitting.com/daily/knitting-references/master-abbreviations/
In regards to the abbreviations in question, here are the definitions:
Pm – place marker
Sm – slip marker
P – purl
k – knit
