Shades of Royalty Cowl

Size: Length: 17”; Circumference: 44”

Gauge: 10 sts and 15 rows = 4 inches/10cm in Yuzu Stitch, blocked

Materials

Yarn: Plymouth DeAire (100% fine merino wool; 109 yards [100 meters]/100 grams): #2875 Lawrence (4 hanks)
Needles: US size 15 (10.0 mm) circular (32”) needles or size needed to obtain gauge
Notions: Stitch marker, tapestry needle

Special Stitches

Yuzu Stitch (mult of 10 sts)
Rnds 1-2: *P6, [k1, p1] twice; rep from * to end of rnd.
Rnds 3-4: *K6, [k1, p1] twice; rep from * to end of rnd.
Rnds 5-6: *K1, p7, k1, p1; rep from * to end of rnd.
Rnds 7-8: *K1, p1, k7, p1; rep from * to end of rnd.
Rnds 9-10: * [K1, p1] twice, p6; rep from * to end of rnd.
Rnds 11-12: * [K1, p1] twice, k6; rep from * to end of rnd.
Rnds 13-14: *P1, [p1, k1] twice, p5; rep from * to end of rnd.
Rnds 15-16: *K2, [k1, p1] twice, k4; rep from * to end of rnd.
Rnds 17-18: *P4, [k1, p1] twice, p2; rep from * to end of rnd.
Rnds 19-20: *K5, [p1, k1] twice, k1; rep from * to end of rnd.
Repeat Rnds 1-20 for pattern.

Pattern Notes

This cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up.

Pattern

Cast on 110 sts. Join to work in the round, being careful not to twist the stitches, and mark beginning of round with stitch marker. Work Yuzu Stitch until piece measures approximately 17 inches from cast-on edge. Bind off loosely.

Finishing

Weave in ends. Block to measurements. yarn ball
