Yarn: BC Bio Balance GOTS (55% wool, 45% cotton; 246 yards [225meters] / 50grams): 30 Black (MC), 29 Lead (CC1) and 11 Skylight (CC2); 1 skein each.
Needles: US Size 3 (3.25 mm), 24″ circular

Round 1: With CC1 *k4, sl1 kwise wyib; rep from * around.
Round 2: Rep Round 1.
Round 3: With MC *sl1 kwise wyib, k4; rep from * around.
Round 4: With MC *sl1 kwise wyib, p4; rep from * around.
Round 5: With CC2 k1, *sl1 kwise wyib, k4; rep from * to last 4 sts, sl1 kwise wyib, k3.
Round 6: Rep Round 5.
Rounds 7-8: Rep Rounds 3-4.

Work 20 rounds in garter st, ending with a purl row.
Next round (inc): [K11, yo] 10 times. (120 sts)
Purl 1 round.
Body
Rounds 1-8: Work Rounds 1-8 of Main pattern from chart or the written instructions.
Rep Rounds 1-8 twelve more times.
Edging
With MC work 2 rounds in garter st.
Next round (dec): [K10, k2tog] 10 times. (110 sts)
Rounds 3-16: Cont in garter st, ending with a purl row.
BO knitwise.
Straps (make 2)
With MC, CO 8 sts.
Row 1 (RS): Sl1 kwise wyib, k5, sl1 kwise wyib, p1.
Row 2 (WS): Sl1 kwise wyib, p1, k4, sl1 pwise wyif, p1.
Rep these 2 rows until strap measure about 12″ or desired length (remember that the strap will stretch with use). Leave a tail long for sewing.
Finishing
Sew the bag at the bottom.
Measure about 2.5” from outside edge of each side of the Front/Back of bag and sew the strap in place at both ends. Repeat for opposite site.
Weave in all ends and block to required measurements.
Lining (optional)
If desired, cut lining fabric to fit inside of bag and sew with WS side out. Do not turn inside out, place lining in bag and sew by hand along upper edge, just below last round.
