Pattern Notes

The front and back welts for this pullover are worked separately then overlapped and joined to work the body in the round. Using the longest circular needle for the front welt makes it easy to transition to working the body after joining the welts.

The front and back are identical with the same patterns worked between the side markers.

Optional: Place markers between the stitch patterns for keeping track of the patterns. 4 markers are used for the front and 4 for the back. These markers should be distinct from the side markers.

Slip all markers as you come to them.

The saddle shoulders extend 2″ on the front and 1″ on the back.

Pick up sleeve sts along the armhole edges at a rate of 2 sts for every 3 rows. Pick up 1 st in each underarm bound off st. Adjust pick up rate as needed for the total number of sleeve sts for the size you are knitting.

Larger sizes may choose to use a longer circular needle for the body.
