Work 4 rows of garter stitch.
Row 5 (WS): Knit.
Rows 6-7: K3, purl to last 3 sts, k3.
Row 8: K5, *sl1wyib, k2; rep from * to last 4 sts, k4.
Row 9: K3, p3, *sl1wyif, p2; rep from * to last 3 sts, k3.
Row 10: K5, *drop the slipped st off needle to front of work, k2, pick up the dropped st and knit it; rep from * to last 4 sts, k4.
Rows 11 and 13: K3, purl to last 3 sts, k3.
