Learn how to knit the bobble stitch with this photo tutorial!
Steps:
With MC, work to the stitch where to insert the Bobble.
Insert left needle under the yarn between last worked stitch and the one to be worked from front to back (as it to M1L).
With the yarn used for the Bobble, k1 in the backloop, leaving the stitch on needle.
Make a yarn over.
Knit 1 more stitch in the same loop (the raised bar).
Turn work and slip 1 stitch purlwise with yarn in front.
Purl the second stitch of the Bobble, then pull the yarn in order to tighten the slipped stitch.
Purl the last Bobble stitch.
Turn work and slip the first Bobble stitch with yarn in back.
Knit the second stitch of the Bobble, then pull the yarn in order to tighten the slipped stitch.
Knit the last Bobble stitch.
Turn work and repeat Steps 5-7.
Turn work and slip the first stitch purlwise with yarn in front.
Then knit the following 2 stitches together.
Pass the slipped stitch over.
With MC, knit the following stitch.
If there is another Bobble after the first one, do not break yarn. Work a second Bobble, repeating Steps 2-13.
When finished with the Bobble, cut the yarn, keeping a 4″ long end.
Do not work more than 2 Bobbles without breaking yarn.
When working the WS row, purl together the body stitch using MC with the Bobble stitch.
