This breezy summer top is the combination of two classic lace patterns. Pink and white come together in a wavy design to create a lightweight top that’s made for a sunset beach strolls.

Yarn: Rowan Summerlite 4ply (100% Cotton; 191 yards [175 meters]/50 grams): #417 (C1, 3 (3, 3, 3, 4) skeins)
Regia Tutti Frutti (72% Cotton, 18% Polyamide, 10% Polyester; 459 yards [420 meters]/100 grams): #02420 Erdbeere (C2, 2 (3, 3, 3, 3) skeins)
Needles: US size 5 (3.75 mm) 32” circulars, US size 4 (3.5 mm) 16” circulars.
Notions: Stitch markers, stitch holders, tapestry needle.
Pattern Notes
This sweater is worked from the bottom up in the round.
Sleeve gussets are added at the underarm and it is worked back and forth.
When working back and forth, breaking yarn can be avoided by sliding work to opposite side.

With larger needles, and C1, CO 252 (288, 324, 360, 396) sts. Join in the rnd, being careful not to twist work. PM for beginning of rnd.

Back Sleeve Gussets (make 2)
With C1, larger needles, and RS facing, PU 57 sts along bottom edge of Front Sleeve Gusset. Work as for Front Sleeve Gusset.
Back
Work as for Front.
Attach Front to Back using 3-needle BO.
Armhole Edging
With C1, smaller needles and RS facing, PU 142 (182, 182, 182, 204) sts along sleeve edge. Work in the round.
Rnd 1: Purl.
Rnd 2: Knit.

BO purlwise.
Finishing
Sew underarm seams.
