Pop of Pink Scarf

Add a Pop of Pink to your wardrobe for a fun summer scarf on cooler evenings. Light and airy but still a statement piece, the pink stripes pop nicely on a neutral background. Working with only one color at a time, this scarf is easy to make too!

Time: Weekend Project

Skill Level: Easy

Size: 8” x 65”

Gauge: 15 sts and 24 rows = 4” [10 cm] in garter st after blocking

To use pattern for gauge, Rows 1-25 should measure 8” x 4” after blocking.

Exact gauge is not critical for this project.

Materials

Medium weight yarnYarn: Lion Brand Jeans Colors (100% Acrylic; 246 yards [225 meters]/100 grams) 1 ball each of #123 Khaki (MC, 1 ball), #101 Bermuda Shorts (CC, 1 ball)

Needles: US size 8 (5.0 mm)

Notions: Tapestry needle, US size H/8 (5.0 mm) crochet hook

Pattern Notes

This pattern will stretch considerably with blocking. Because all yarns will stretch differently, all measurements are given after blocking.

The entire scarf is knit first in khaki, then, the pink stripes are added with the crochet hook.
