Kimia Knit Headband

From The Seaside Staples Knitting Collection

These easy, shaped headbands are worked in two halves, each started with a closed cast on, then grafted together over a plastic headband insert. A flat tube of Stockinette Stitch is then twisted into a mobius knot and grafted in place in the center, for a playful finish. Heart of Hearts Mittens

Simple, yet colorful, these classic thrummed mittens are worked from the cuff up, on a neutral background, with three alternating shades of colorful thrums. Easy enough for a first-time thrummer, this is a traditional pattern you’ll come back to again and again. Great as a last minute gift, there’s plenty of room for adaptation with this pattern. For a tonal look, work the mittens using shades of the same color for the thrums and background, or go wild with a random assortment of mixed colors! Bronwyn Chunky Headband

Worked in the round using three strands of yarn held together, this warm, chunky headband is the perfect autumn and winter accessory. We’ve paired three natural colors of undyed wool to create the two-tone background, with bold chocolate stripes. A complementary fleece lining makes the headband extra cozy, while adding another shade of natural color. The piece is finished off with a dark brown tie in the front, adding a touch of character and interest to the design.
