Hello, world! I'm Jesse, editor of AllFreeCrochet.com and AllFreeCrochetAfghanPatterns.com. Before starting at Prime, I worked as a local reporter covering a wide range of topics in Lake County, Illinois. That job wasn't too different from this one: inspiring people by showing them the cool things their neighbors are doing. I'm passionate about accurate, entertaining writing that spreads good in the world.
I hail from the northwest suburbs of Chicago in Fox Lake, which is a historic boating town where Al Capone liked to hang out. I grew up just a hop, skip, and a jump from there in Gurnee, Illinois, known to locals as “the town with Six Flags Great America.” As you can see, I have a pattern of living in tourist towns. In fact, I lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin while attending Marquette University to study journalism. Milwaukee is another great town for travelers (especially travelers who love brewery tours).
In my spare time, I enjoy reading gothic novels, listening to punk cabaret, and crafting. I hope our work at Prime inspires you!
