Christy Nelson

christy-nelson

Christy Nelson has been addicted to yarn for most of her adult life. She started with crochet about 20 years ago and has now added knitting and spinning to her repertoire. An avid traveler, many of her designs are inspired by her visits to other countries like China, Mexico, Switzerland, and Italy. Last summer she spent 5 weeks in France with her husband and two children (ages 11 and 9), but she calls Lincoln, Nebraska home.

Accented I-Cord Pillows Set

This gorgeous pillow set is inspired by the Sagrada Familia Basilica in Barcelona. The body of all the pillows is the same, but the difference is in the I-cord detailing that accents each one. Based on designs found within the basilica, this set of pillows represents Jesus, Mary, and Joseph without being too overly symbolic.
