Pattern Notes
This pattern is worked in rows from the top down, starting with a garter tab and finishing with a crochet bind-off.
For a smaller shawl that uses only one skein of yarn, work one less repeat of chart 2 than directed.
The stitches surrounded by the red border on Chart 2 are the pattern repeat. These stitches are worked multiple times. The first time you work the chart, these stitches are worked twice; they are worked 2 additional times each time your repeat the chart.
When blocking, stretch out the shawl and pin firmly for best results.
