Pattern Notes
This cowl is worked in the round from the bottom up. Gauge is not critical for this pattern, but changes in gauge will affect the finished size.
Pattern
CO 44 sts and join to knit in the round, being careful not to twist.
Garter Edging
Rnd 1: Purl.
Rnd 2: Knit.
Repeat Rounds 1-2 once more.
Night Sky Stitch
Rnd 1: Knit.
Rnd 2: *K2, p2tog leaving sts on the needle, put the right hand needle through the first stitch from the back purling the stitch again, then let both sts slide off left needle; rep from * to end.
Rnd 3: Knit.
Rnd 4: *P2tog leaving sts on the needle, put the right hand needle through the first stitch from the back purling the stitch again, then let both sts slide off left needle, k2; rep from * to end.
Repeat Rounds 1-4 9 more times.
Work Garter edging once more.
